Natural Light Candids with Rock Agency – Corey Mulder
It was a pleasant surprise to see Corey Mulder from the Rock Agency the other day while hosting Kallabeth Photography in my studio. After helping Kallabeth setup the studio and tweak some lighting I primarily took a back seat to let him work his magic with Corey. From time to time during the shoot I decided to pick up my camera and snap a few natural light portraits from a distance. I found my self on the floor, hiding behind some furniture and even standing way above from my counter top as to not be obtrusive to the actual shoot that was going on. What a difference! D200 vs. D700
Ok so I am dying to really test out my new D700 but before I really get a chance I thought I would just do a quick test to see what the visual differences are between the D200 (cropped sensor) and D700 (full frame)

iPhone Scouting
So for months I have been driving down route 55 heading towards St. Louis and I keep seeing this amazing looking barn and other farm related structures. I decided this time while heading that way to leave an extra 15 minutes early and use doofus (gps) to find my way to the exact location. So with my iPhone I went and took some some quick scouting photos for what looks like to be one of my next shoots. The location was super cool. Great textures, great structures and plenty opportunity for some cool shots. Now all I need to do is find the right model, makeup artist and maybe even a stylist and it is on!
Tattoos and Canons
Took a picture today using a Canon 5D Mark II to help out a fellow Chicago photographer. Full frame is pretty cool!

Photography is in the blood…
A friend of my father just posted this picture of him on Facebook. Photography has always been in my blood and this just proves it. Photo taken in 1967 and that isn’t Apple Apareture or Abobe Lightroom he is working with.
